The UK has a very challenging Carbon Dioxide Emissions target and the UK Government has developed a Boiler Scrappage scheme to encourage the switch from old, inefficient boilers to modern high efficiency boilers.
It is estimated that there are 3.5 million homes in the UK with the most inefficient boilers, SEDBUK rated band G, and the funding allocated to the Boiler Scrappage Scheme will help 125,000 of these with a £400 grant towards upgrading their boiler.
